New construction plumbing

Plumbing for new homes and builds

Rough-in and finish plumbing for new homes, additions and commercial builds, coordinated with your builder so the job stays on schedule and passes inspection.

Plumbing rough-in pipes in an open wall

Builders and owners

Plumbing that fits the build schedule

On a new build, the plumber has to show up at the right moment, do the work right and get out of the way for the next trade. Late rough-in holds up framing inspections and drywall. Sloppy work gets caught at inspection and costs days. We plan around your schedule and keep you informed.

We handle supply, drain and vent rough-in, water heater and gas piping, and the finish set of fixtures once the space is ready. For additions, we tie the new plumbing into the existing system and make sure the old lines can handle the extra load.

Project types

Builds we plumb

If walls are going up, we can plan the plumbing that goes inside them.

New single-family homes

Full plumbing from underground and rough-in through water heater, gas lines and the final fixture set.

Home additions

New bathrooms, kitchens or laundry rooms in an addition, tied into the existing supply and drain lines properly.

Basement finishes

Rough-in for a basement bathroom or wet bar, including options when the main drain sits higher than the new fixtures.

Commercial build-outs

Restrooms, break rooms and kitchens for new commercial spaces and tenant fit-outs, coordinated with the general contractor.

How we work with builders

From plans to final fixtures

Review the plans

We go over fixture locations, water heater and gas needs and give you a clear price for the plumbing scope.

Rough-in

We run supply, drain and vent lines and gas piping when the framing is ready, then pressure test the system.

Inspection

The rough-in is ready for inspection on schedule so the walls can close and the next trades can start.

Finish and test

After finishes, we set fixtures, start the water heater, test every connection and hand the system over.

Why builders choose Empire

A plumbing sub that shows up

Builders need a plumber who answers the phone, keeps dates and does work that passes inspection. We are a licensed, veteran-owned company that treats your schedule as part of the job. You get a clear price for the scope, updates as we go and one team from rough-in to the final fixture.

On schedule

We plan our visits around framing, inspections and finishes so we are not the trade holding up the job.

Licensed for gas and water

Master plumber and gas fitter license #77034 covers water, drain, vent and gas piping on the same build.

Inspection-ready work

Rough-in is pressure tested and done to code so inspections pass and walls can close.

Clear scope and price

You know what is included before the work starts, so there are no surprise charges at closeout.

Questions

New construction plumbing questions

Do not see your question? Call (443) 630-9804 during office hours and talk to a licensed plumber.

Do you work directly with homeowners building a house?

Yes. We work with builders, general contractors and homeowners managing their own build or addition. We review the plans, give you a price for the plumbing scope and coordinate our visits with the other trades on the job.

Often, yes. The main question is whether the new fixtures sit below the main drain. If they do, there are options to pump the waste up to the drain. We look at the space and explain what will work and what it costs.

Yes. Our license covers gas fitting, so we run gas lines for water heaters, ranges, dryers and other appliances as part of the build. That keeps the water and gas work with one team and one schedule.

Yes. We connect new bathrooms, kitchens and laundry rooms to the existing supply and drain lines, and check that the older pipes, water heater and main line can handle the extra fixtures before we start.

As early as you have plans. Reviewing fixture locations before framing helps avoid conflicts with joists and other trades. It also gives us time to schedule rough-in for when the framing is ready, so the job keeps moving.
